There is a traditionally built house in the 1800s. The house is in Dravapalkonya, in Hungary. The village is next to Drava river, located at the foot the Villany wine region (world famous wines, beautiful scenery). The goal is that rescue and utilize the building.
The building was almost destroyed in the II. World War. Current state of collapse, as it presently stands on the verge of total annihilation and destruction.
Renovation of the building do it on the basis of tradition (adobe brick walls, whitewashing, oak wooden structures), that faitfully reflect building traditions of the 1800 vintage, characteristics of the life at that time. The building has rooms (5 rooms, 12-15 people) and public spaces are constructed. The budget of the project 150 000 EUR. We acquired the support of the European Union Agriculture and Rural Development Fund, an amount of 118 000 EUR. Expected completion end of year 2014.
